| This stinks.
USA (and Bush) who think they can walk into any country and take what they want, when they feel like it.
Today when I was out posting a letter I overheard two neighbours talking about the war. The discussion went on somewhat like this.
Neighbour 1: Iraq, Iraq, Iraq - that's all I hear about. Neighbour 2: Yeah, tiring, isn't it? Neighbour 3: Why not just drop an a-bomb and get rid of them, so we don't have to listen to this shit.
I didn't believe people could be so stupid, but obviously they are. And Sweden isn't even pro-war (though some politicans appear to be). I mean, come on! Say theey drop the bomb, Saddam along with thousands of people die, USA get what they want. But imagine the day Bush wants something in your country.
There are two bad things, as I see it. The first one is that USA doesn't give a shit about UN (or the world order, for that matter). There is an established world communion, designed to handle stuff like this. When nations sidestep them, and act on their own, the balance is disrupted. The other bad thing is a thing called veto. In this situation it caused the UN not to agree how to handle this. It splits the nations, and results in that bigger nations conquer the small (obviously, they have more resources, bigger armies, etc. etc. (and now I don't mean conquer exclusively as in a war-situation)). I would like to see a 70-80% mayority instead, without any veto.
We need a balanced world, with a working organization, like UN to handle problems. USA, UK and Spain just pushed that goal further away. It sickens me. - Music:Marilyn Manson - Cruci-fiction In Space

| I'm back home again.
It's 09:21 and I've been up for 20 minutes. Right now I'm discussing a national swedish airsoft association with a friend of mine. Some people are stupid! And those people also refuse to see the good things about organisations they dislike (because they've spoken to the wrong people). Arrgh, good thing I'm working with competent people for Lexx-O-Rama at least.
The meeting at Skellefteå was... erm, not as good as it could have been. The chairman stayed home because she had to work. The mentioned chairwomen has her own company though, and decides herself when to work. The vice chairman managed to wake up at 12:30 after about 30 calls to his mobile, he did not know where he was, due to extensive drinking last night. Some people just don't show any signs of responsibility sometimes. However, we visited "Norrhack" which was a LAN-party in Skellefteå, quite big actually, 400-500 people. We, together with the people in charge there, managed to start 7 (I think) new "Sverokföreningar", that's good!
On sunday I was at my parents place, celebrating my fathers birthday. It was very nice. I also managed to get my airsoftgun back together (I've changed gears in it) without to much hassle, so now I can play again. Monday I picked up my new glasses and took the bus (it's a four hour ride) back up to Luleå. And here I am now.

| It was a long time ago, to be more exact since september (with the exception of a quiz-result, but that doesn't count).
So? What have I been up to then?
Well, mostly just humming about. Been working a bit (I'm trying to get at least 50 hours each month) and I've finally managed to pay off all my depts, which is nice. Apart from working nothing much has hapened really. I've played airsoft a few times, around christmas, in Umeå with my brother. But the second time it was so damn cold it just wasn't fun anymore. Made me think another time about doing military service! ;-) Looks like i'll study instead. Christmas was nice, I spent it with my family at my grandparents (at my mothers side) place in Örnsköldsvik. On new years eve I was at Briseis place with MantRa, Mira, eo and a couple of people I don't really know. After new years I set out for the first trip of the year. First down to Stockholm for a day of work and then in the evening i flew to London to visit Talon, it was very nice! I got to go The Full Tilt twice! :-P It's really a damn good club. So after two weeks of drinking at Talon's place I returned to Sweden just to discover there were work to do. meaning I stayed in Stockholm for two more weeks. After that I went to my parents place again. Had to pick up some stuff. However, I got sick, so I had to stay a few extra days to be taken care of! ;-) Then two weeks ago I finally returned home. It's very nice to be home again, to sleep in my own bed, to chat at my own computer, and eat my own food!
Right now I'm gonna take a bath. Later today I'm going to Skellefteå on a board-meeting for Sverok Övre Norrland (the upper northern district of the swedish gaming association) so I have to put together a draft for budget for next years board. After the meeting I'm going down to my parents place again. My father's gotten one year older again (hehe) so we're having a dinner tomorrow at their place. I will return again on monday evening! - Mood:accomplished
